Inspiration
This is one of those stories which needed time to develop. The idea was there in a second, writing it down took me considerably more time. However, I did 'write' about it back in 2015. A short blog revealing some of the things that ended up in this short SF story.
Some of the names used in this short story will be clear once you've read the blog. The name of the ship is explained in the story itself. Well now, have a look at the old stuff: Skredch blog (2015): The new frontier.
